Billing Service for Doulas
This subscription includes:
-HIPAA compliant/PHI encrypted electronic records to store client information
Billing services include:
-Assistance and resourcing checking member eligibility to make sure they have a covered plan prior to any services performed
-Electronic claim submission through clearing house by billing specialist
-Assistance following up on any claims errors & denials
-Ongoing advocacy and collaboration with RI payers as issues arise
RIBWC does not provide:
-Revenue management (doulas will receive payment from payers directly, RIBWC only handles transactions of data)
-As a billing service, RIBWC does not make decisions about claim approval, denials or payments. Please thoroughly read your contract with each insurance company to understand their guidelines for payment.
-We do not collect copays/coinsurance for their clients
-RIBWC members are private/group/partnered practice doulas, RIBWC itself is not a doula practice. Our members are not employees.
